You add extras (add-ons) from the Extras section on the Services page in CleanSlot. Extras are optional items customers can add to a service when booking (e.g. pet-friendly treatment, oven cleaning). You must have at least one service before you can add extras.
Where to add extras in CleanSlot
- In the sidebar, under Business, click Services.
- Scroll below your services to the Extras heading.
- Click Add extra.
How to add an extra (add-on)
- Click Add extra. An extra card opens in edit mode.
- Fill in:
- Service. Choose which service this extra belongs to (or leave unassigned if it can apply to multiple services, depending on how your app is set up).
- Name. What the customer sees (e.g. "Oven cleaning").
- Description. Optional.
- Price and Duration (minutes). Optional; use if the extra has a separate charge or adds time.
- Click Create. The extra is saved and can be selected by customers when they book that service.
If you have no services yet, create a service first; the Add extra button is disabled until then.
Why add extras to a service
Extras let you offer optional upgrades or add-ons without creating separate services. Customers see them during booking and can add what they need. You keep one main service (e.g. "Standard cleaning") and use extras for things like "Inside oven" or "Pet-friendly" so pricing and duration stay clear.
