1. Acceptance of Terms

CleanSlot is a software-as-a-service ("Service") provided by a sole proprietor based in Ontario, Canada. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Free Trial & Subscriptions

14-Day Free Trial: We offer a 14-day free trial to new users. After the trial period ends, you must select a paid subscription plan to continue using the Service.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will not be charged for the next billing cycle.

Access After Cancellation: You will retain access to the Service until the end of your current paid billing period.

3. Refund Policy

No General Refunds: Except as required by Ontario law, CleanSlot does not offer refunds for monthly or annual subscriptions.

Case-by-Case Basis: We value our customers and may, at our sole discretion, offer a refund or credit in exceptional circumstances (e.g., technical errors on our end).

Contact: To request a review of a billing issue, please email contact@cleanslotapp.com.

4. Service Availability (Uptime)

Standard Efforts: We aim for a monthly uptime of 99.9%.

Infrastructure: CleanSlot is hosted on Vercel and Supabase. While we strive for constant availability, we are not liable for outages caused by these third-party infrastructure providers or general internet disruptions.

Maintenance: Occasional scheduled maintenance may be required. We will try to perform these during low-usage hours and provide notice where possible.

5. Account Security (Google/Apple)

You are responsible for the security of your account. Since CleanSlot uses third-party authentication (Google, and potentially Apple), your account security is tied to your security settings with those providers. We cannot recover accounts if you lose access to your third-party provider.

6. Limitation of Liability (Ontario Specific)

To the extent permitted by the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, CleanSlot and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall be limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any legal proceedings will take place in the courts of Kitchener, Ontario.
