  • Authentication Data: If you choose to "Sign in with Google" (or potentially Apple in the future), we receive your name and email address from the provider to create your account.
  • Usage Data: We use IP addresses solely for rate limiting to prevent spam and abuse; these are not stored in our long-term database.
  • Cookies & Tracking: We use cookies to remember your site settings. We also use tracking pixels for analytics and to measure the effectiveness of our advertisements.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Create and manage your CleanSlot account.
  • Process payments via our third-party provider.
  • Analyze app performance and improve user experience.
  • Communicate essential service updates.

Note: We do not use your personal data to train AI models or for internal R&D beyond standard app improvements.

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the following service providers necessary to operate CleanSlot:

  • Hosting & Database: Supabase (Data storage and authentication).
  • Payments: Stripe (We do not store your credit card information on our servers).

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We value your "Right to be Forgotten." We retain your personal data only as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is removed from our active databases. Please note that some data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited time or as required by law (e.g., for tax/billing records via Stripe).

  • Canada (PIPEDA): As a Canadian entity, we comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
  • United States (CCPA/CPRA): We respect the privacy rights of US residents, including the right to know what data is collected and the right to request deletion.
  • Global Users: While we target North America, we provide the same high standard of data protection to all users regardless of location.

We leverage the security infrastructure of Supabase and Stripe to protect your data. This includes encryption in transit and at rest. As a sole proprietorship, we prioritize using industry-leading vendors to ensure your data is handled with enterprise-grade security.
