You add or edit staff notes (internal notes) from the appointment details in CleanSlot. They appear under Notes in the Staff notes area. Only your team sees staff notes; customers do not. Only owners can edit them.
How to add or edit staff notes in CleanSlot
- Go to Appointments and click the appointment (or Details).
- In the details modal, scroll to the Notes section.
- Under Staff notes, click Edit (or type in the box if it is already in edit mode).
- Type or change the note. You can leave it empty to clear existing notes.
- Click Save.
Staff notes are for things like gate codes, pet instructions, or special requests that only your team should see. They are separate from Customer notes, which the customer may have entered when booking.
Why use staff notes?
Staff notes keep private or operational details in one place (e.g. "Side door, code 1234" or "Dog in yard"). Your team can read them when opening the appointment so they are prepared. Customers do not see these notes, so you can record information that should not appear on confirmations or receipts.
