You assign staff to an appointment from the Appointments list (staff column) or from the appointment details in CleanSlot. Only owners can change assignments; staff can see who is assigned but cannot edit it.
How to assign staff from the Appointments list
- Go to Appointments.
- In the Staff column for the appointment, click the plus button (or the staff dropdown).
- Check the team members you want assigned. Uncheck to remove someone. You can assign more than one person.
- The list updates immediately. Assigned staff appear as chips; click the X on a chip to remove that person.
How to assign staff from the appointment details
- Go to Appointments and click the appointment (or Details).
- In the Staff area (in the details or in the table row), use the same plus menu or dropdown to check or uncheck team members.
- Changes save immediately.
Who can assign staff
Only owners can assign or remove staff. Staff members see the assignments but do not see the plus button or the remove (X) control. If you are staff and need someone assigned, ask an owner to do it in CleanSlot.
Why assign staff to appointments?
Assigning staff shows who is responsible for each job and lets you filter the list by staff so each person can see their own appointments. It also helps with scheduling and follow-up so the right people get reminders and updates.
