How do I change my currency?

Set or change the currency in the Payments section of Business settings in CleanSlot; this is the currency you use when charging customers.

You set or change your currency in the Payments section of Business settings in CleanSlot. This is the currency used when you charge customers for appointments (e.g. USD, CAD). Only owners can change it.

Where to find the currency setting in CleanSlot

  1. In the sidebar, go to Business.
  2. Click Business settings.
  3. Scroll to the Payments card. Below the Stripe connection area, find Currency (with the note that this is the currency you will charge your customers if you accept payments through CleanSlot).

How to set or change your currency

  1. Open the Currency dropdown. It lists currencies (e.g. US Dollar, Canadian Dollar).
  2. Select the currency you want to use for charges.
  3. Click Save. New charges and the amounts shown in the Payment dialog will use this currency.

Existing payment records keep their original currency. If you change currency, use the new one for future charges. Make sure it matches how you price your services and what your customers expect (e.g. USD in the US, CAD in Canada).

When to set or change your currency

Set it when you first connect Stripe so all charges use the right currency. Change it if you move to a different country or market and want to charge in the local currency. Using the correct currency avoids confusion and ensures Stripe and your bank process payments in the currency you intend.
