You change the service, price, or add-ons from the appointment details in CleanSlot. Open the appointment, then use Edit in the Service and pricing section. Only owners can edit this section.
How to change service, price, or add-ons in CleanSlot
- Go to Appointments and click the appointment (or Details).
- In the details modal, find the Service and pricing section.
- Click Edit in the section header.
- Service. Choose a different service from the dropdown if needed. If you change the service, add-ons may reset; you can add the ones you want again.
- Price. Type the amount you want to charge (or leave as is). This is the price shown to the customer and used when you charge or record payment.
- Add-ons. Use the dropdown to add add-ons for this service. Remove an add-on with the minus button next to it. Add-ons can have their own price and duration.
- Click Save.
If you change the price and save, CleanSlot may set the appointment status to Awaiting confirmation and send the customer an email to confirm the new price (see the customer-facing help articles). For recurring appointments, choose Edit appointment or Edit series before saving.
Why change service, price, or add-ons?
Jobs change: the customer adds an extra (e.g. oven cleaning) or you adjust the quote. Updating the service and price in CleanSlot keeps the appointment accurate and ensures when you charge or record payment, the amount matches what you agreed. Add-ons let you itemize extras without creating a new appointment.
