How do I create a new service?

You create a new service from the Services page in CleanSlot. Each service has a name, base price, duration, and optional extras (per bedroom, per bathroom, buffer). Only owners can create services.

1. In the sidebar, under Business, click Services.
2. At the top, click Create new service.

How to create a new service

1. Click Create new service. A service card opens in edit mode.
2. Fill in the fields you need:
   • Name. The service name customers see (e.g. "Standard cleaning").
   • Description. Optional; can explain what the service includes.
   • Base price and Base duration. The default price and length in minutes.
   • Crew size. How many people typically do this service (default 1).
   • Buffer. Optional minutes between appointments (e.g. travel time).
   • Per bedroom / Per bathroom. Optional labor minutes and price added per room.
3. Click Create to save. The new service appears in the list and is available on your booking page.

If you see a validation error, fix the highlighted fields and try again. You can edit the service later from the same page.

Services define what customers can book and how CleanSlot calculates price and duration. Creating a service for each offering (e.g. standard clean, deep clean) keeps your booking page clear and ensures availability and pricing are correct.
