You edit customer details (name, email, phone) from the appointment details in CleanSlot. Open the appointment, then use Edit in the Customer section. Only owners can edit customer details.
How to edit customer details for an appointment in CleanSlot
- Go to Appointments and click the appointment (or Details).
- In the details modal, find the Customer section.
- Click Edit in the Customer section header.
- Update Name, Email, and Phone. Email and Phone are required; name is optional.
- Click Save. The customer record is updated for this appointment (and for any other appointments for the same customer).
If you cancel without saving, the previous values stay.
What happens when you save
The name, email, and phone you enter are stored on the customer record. That customer may have other appointments; updating their details here updates them everywhere in CleanSlot for that customer. Notifications and payment emails use the email you set.
Why edit customer details?
Customers sometimes give a wrong email or phone or change their contact info. Updating it in the appointment (or in any of their appointments) keeps CleanSlot in sync so reminders, confirmations, and payment emails go to the right place and you can reach them by phone when needed.
