How do I set my time zone?

Set or change your business time zone in the General section of Business settings in CleanSlot; it is used for business hours and availability.

You set your time zone in the General section of Business settings in CleanSlot. CleanSlot uses this time zone for your business hours, availability, and when showing appointment times. Only owners can change it.

Where to find the time zone setting in CleanSlot

  1. In the sidebar, go to Business.
  2. Click Business settings.
  3. In the General card, find Time zone (with the note that it is used for business hours and availability).

How to set or change your time zone

  1. Open the Time zone dropdown. It shows a list of time zones (e.g. America/New_York, Europe/London).
  2. Select the time zone that matches your business location (or where you want availability and times to be calculated).
  3. Click Save. The list and appointment times in CleanSlot will use the new time zone.

If you change the time zone, existing appointments keep their stored times but will display in the new zone. Your Schedule (business hours) is interpreted in this time zone, so customers see availability in your local time.

When to set or update your time zone

Set it when you first set up CleanSlot so your schedule and booking slots are in the right time. Change it if you move or operate in a different time zone, or if you discover it was set incorrectly (e.g. customers are seeing the wrong local time). Correct time zone avoids double-bookings and confusion about when appointments are.
