You set your availability on the Schedule page in CleanSlot. Your availability (weekly hours and date overrides) determines when you can be assigned to appointments. Customers only see time slots when the business is open and when enough team members are available.
In the sidebar, under Business, click Schedule. Owners see a Personal schedule tab; staff see only their personal schedule. Use the Your weekly hours and Your date overrides sections to manage when you are available.
Set your weekly hours
- On Schedule, go to the Personal schedule tab (owners) or the main schedule view (staff).
- In the Your weekly hours card, you will see a table with each day of the week and Start and End time fields.
- For each day you are available for appointments, enter a Start time and an End time (for example 9:00 and 17:00).
- To mark a day as unavailable, leave both Start and End blank, or use the × button next to that row to clear the times.
- Click Save hours at the bottom of the card.
Times use the business time zone from Business settings. You can change your hours anytime; updates apply to future availability.
Match business hours (owners only)
If you are an owner, you will see a link: Change my schedule to match business hours. Click it to copy the business weekly hours to your personal schedule. Use this when you want your own availability to follow the same days and times as the business.
Mark a day as not available
Use a date override when you have time off, a vacation day, or another reason you are not available on a specific date.
- On Schedule, go to Personal schedule (or the main view if you are staff) and scroll to the Your date overrides card.
- Use the Month and Year dropdowns so the month that contains the day is visible.
- In the Not available section (or Mark as not available), click the date field and pick the date (or type it in).
- Click the button to mark that day as not available (the label may be "Mark as not available" or similar).
- The date appears in the overrides table with Hours shown as "Not available." You will not be offered for appointments on that day.
To make the day available again, remove the override (see "Remove a personal date override" below).
Set custom hours for a specific date
Use a date override when you are available on a date but for different start or end times than your usual weekly hours (for example a late start or early finish).
- On Schedule, go to Personal schedule (or the main view if you are staff) and scroll to the Your date overrides card.
- Use the Month and Year dropdowns so the month that contains your date is visible.
- In the Custom hours section (if shown), enter the date and the Start and End times for that day.
- Save or submit the override. The date appears in the overrides table with the times you set. You will only be offered for slots within that range on that date.
To remove the override later, use the steps in "Remove a personal date override" below.
Remove a personal date override
After you remove one of your date overrides, that date uses your normal weekly hours again (or is unavailable if that weekday has no hours).
- On Schedule, go to Personal schedule (or the main view if you are staff) and scroll to the Your date overrides card.
- Use the Month and Year dropdowns until the override you want to remove is visible in the table.
- Find the row for the date (the table shows Date and Hours; hours may show "Not available" or a time range).
- Click the × button at the end of that row (the button may be labeled "Remove override" when you hover).
- The override is removed. That date now follows your standard weekly hours for that day of the week.
How your availability affects booking
CleanSlot only shows time slots to customers when the business is open and when enough team members (based on the service crew size) are available. Keeping your weekly hours and date overrides up to date ensures you are not offered for times you cannot work and helps the booking calendar stay accurate.
